Woke up to fog so thick we couldn’t see a thing. But it burned off mid-morning and turned out to be a really nice day.  We spent the day going to one antique mall and two wineries.  I got to see more of the countryside.  It is beautiful here with the heavily forested mountains and valleys.  I had no idea it looked like this.  The picture on the GPS is typical of the roads here.

I have heard of kudzu but had no idea it was as invasive as it is. It is quite impressive covering the trees.

I guess the doc was right.  All these rest days have made my leg feel much better.  I’m ready to take off as soon as the weather cooperates.  Severe thunderstorms predicted for Mon.   I’m in no big hurry to move on. Just need to meet my brother by the end of the month.
